Lüneburg Weeks Against Racism – For an open society
The 2027 Lüneburg Weeks Against Racism will take place from 1 until 21 March 2027, when a wide range of events – such as city walks, theatre performances, exhibitions, workshops, etc. – will once again take place in Lüneburg and in a number of towns across the district.
This time, the theme is: ‘100% human dignity.’ ‘Shaping a colourful future’.
We are currently in the preparation phase. As soon as our new programme is finalised, we will publish it here. All previous events can be found in the archive.
If you would like to take part in the LWgR 2028, please contact us at info@lwgr.de so that we can add you to our mailing list. We look forward to your participation.
LWgR 2027Mission Statement
The “Lüneburg Weeks against Racism – For an Open Society” are supported by various institutions, civil society groups and individuals. By organizing this annual series of events, we want to send out a clear signal for change in our society towards a community that is critical of discrimination and racism. With our wide range of events and campaigns, we want to enable a joint discussion of the complex issue of the causes and effects of racism, especially in this tense political climate. The aim is to work together to tackle the overall social task of living together in dignity.
